Frankie

This is Frankie!

He is an indoor self-driving robot, that can autonomously create three dimensional point-cloud maps to deliver lunch boxes throughout the school safely and efficiently.

I began working on this project during my second semester with two fellow upperclassmen as guides. This is where I was first exposed to ROS, LiDAR technology, and the workings behind autonomous vehicles.

The robot used a Velodyne 3D Puck LiDAR with ROS Noetic.

I wish there was more documentation on this project but unfortunately the files were deleted as they graduated (other than some CAD models we had).
